At TheVsHub, your privacy is critically important to us. We built Target Math with a strict "Offline-First" architecture specifically to ensure that your personal data remains under your control at all times. This document outlines exactly what we do—and more importantly, what we don't do—with your data.

1. Information Collection

Target Math does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the core application. We do not harvest, scrape, or transmit your contacts, location data, or browser history.

Any crash reports or diagnostic data generated by the Android OS are strictly anonymized and only collected if you have explicitly enabled diagnostic sharing at the OS level.

2. Local Data Storage

All game progression, unlocked achievements, daily streak metrics, and personalized difficulty calibrations are stored locally on your device using standard encrypted Android Room databases. We have absolutely no access to this data.

Warning: If you uninstall the application without manually backing up your device, this local data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by our team.

3. Android App Permissions

To provide the core gaming experience, the Target Math Android application requires specific system permissions. Here is a comprehensive list of every permission requested by the app and exactly what it is used for:

  • android.permission.VIBRATEUsed exclusively to provide physical haptic feedback when you submit a correct or incorrect answer, or when the timer is running out.
  • android.permission.WAKE_LOCKPrevents your device screen from turning off automatically while you are in the middle of solving an active math problem.
  • android.permission.INTERNETandroid.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEUsed strictly for retrieving the latest dynamic questions, submitting optional high scores to the global leaderboard, and checking for app updates. We do not use the internet to track you.
  • android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONSUsed for local reminders to maintain your daily streak. You must explicitly opt-in to receive these notifications from your OS.

4. Third-Party Services & Analytics

Target Math does not currently integrate with third-party advertising SDKs or external analytics trackers. The app is entirely self-contained to maximize performance and privacy.

In the future, if we introduce optional cloud-saving features (e.g., Google Drive integration for cross-device syncing), you will be explicitly prompted to grant permission, and the data will be routed directly to your personal cloud provider, not our servers.

5. Children's Privacy

Target Math is an educational tool suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect personal information of any kind, we are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international equivalents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features or as regulatory requirements change. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
